Any other fans here? I think their "1987" album is great.

I saw Whitesnake when they first formed up and thought they sucked. All Coverdell did was grab his dick the whole show. But after they got Vivian Campbell on guitar they seemed to go in a better direction and actually had some prety good stuff. Fool for your loving is a great song.

I think that most of the guys liked Whitesnake for the music videos:lol:

as a child of the 80's I still preferred old school rock n roll as opposed to 80's hair bands. I did like Def Leppard though.

Honestly, I only remember mostly the David Coverdale days but how could you not love leggy sexy Tawny Kitaen in the music vids???? Never saw them live but "Here I Go Again" has always been a favourite.

I agree - Def Leppard had a similar sound and I liked them even more. Commercialised rock, maybe. But still great sound. And high energy and cool story behind how they loyally stuck with their drummer after he lost an arm in a Corvette crash even though they were pressured to replace him.

Fool For your lovin was out long long before Vivien Campbell joined the band
