Q. I cannot sign on to Watcherswebcam, how can I solve this?
A. If you use Norton Security or Norton Firewall then add Watcherswebcam to the allow list. If you upgraded to a new version sometimes Norton can be confused. Remove Watcherswebcam from the "allow" list then try to sign on again and then say it is OK when Watcherswebcam requests Internet access. If you still can't sign on go to your "help" menu in your contact list and try deactivating Watcherswebcam Pro then try again.. If you still can't sign on after trying all these things then try rebooting your computer. It could be a temporary network problem with your service provider.
Q. Norton has alerted me of Trojans on Watcherswebcam, what can I do?
A. Norton Antivirus sometimes incorrectly detects normal Watcherswebcam video streaming behavior as a Trojan. If you go into your settings you can disable worm detection, or just ignore these warnings because they are inaccurate.
Q. Do I need to have a webcam to use Watcherswebcam?
A. No. You don’t have to have a webcam to see people in video chat rooms, or in 1-on-1 connections, but it is unlikely anyone will want to talk to someone without a webcam. and some can be found for around $20. You can also get a microphone for around $5. A microphone is not required for Watcherswebcam either.

A. Watcherswebcam requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP or better to run. Watcherswebcam will not run on Windows 95, 98, or ME.
Q. Everyone I look at has slow video and people have trouble seeing me too.
A. Watcherswebcam works best with a DSL/Cable broadband Internet connection. Broadband users get close to TV quality. Unfortunately only so much video and audio data can be sent through a telephone line, but we have optimized Watcherswebcam where it works with modem and broadband users.
Q. Does it cost me per minute to video and audio chat with Watcherswebcam?
A. No. Watcherswebcam uses the Internet to send audio and video over your existing Internet connection.
